Meson San Sebastian is around the corner from the Ermita Park and 2 blocks from San Sebastian church and Park. The local market has fresh produce and juices in the morning and a night it's a lively spot where the neighbors gather for soap de lima and tamales. It is a 10 minute walk along the beautiful camino real de Campeche to the main square. There is a good local bakery that competes with the tortilla mill around the corner. They both have a couple of tables where you can enjoy a cochinta sandwich or tacos.
This contemporary house has a open airy floor plan with modern fixtures and skylights in most of the rooms and all 4 bathrooms. There is a large living room at the front of the house with another sitting room that opens onto the garden and pool. The pool has a shallow beach area great for small children. There is a formal dining room and an informal dining area adjoining the kitchen. The 3 bedrooms are at the back of the house. There are two guest rooms and master bedroom suite.
This large house is filled with a eclectic mix of modern and antique furniture from rustic to baroque. The walls are all burnished white plaster and most of the floors are polished white cement. When the house is not rented this is where we most often choose to have parties or dinners.
